Terms of service
These terms set out how projects with Visual Site Lab work, from quotes and payments to ownership and support. Using our site or hiring us means you accept them.
Services and quotes
Every project starts with a written quote that describes the scope, the timeline and the price. Work begins once you approve the quote and pay any agreed deposit. Anything outside the quoted scope is quoted separately before we start it.
Payments
Invoices are due within the period stated on the quote. Late payments may pause scheduled work until the balance is settled. Retainers renew monthly and can be cancelled with the notice period in your agreement.
Intellectual property
Once the final balance is paid, you own the finished website design, copy and media created for you, along with the accounts, domains and data in your name. We may reuse general techniques and non confidential know how, and we may showcase the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to before launch.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide content, feedback and access on time, and to confirm that materials you supply are yours to use. Delays on your side may move delivery dates, and extra rounds beyond the quoted revisions are billed fairly.
Warranties and liability
We build with professional care and test before launch, but we cannot promise uninterrupted operation or specific rankings, traffic or revenue. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
Term and termination
Either side may end a project with written notice as set out in the quote. You pay for work completed and costs committed up to the end date, and we hand over finished deliverables once the balance is clear.
