TOAD Bakery, designed to convert
Bakery website for London sourdough, croissants and coffee with online pre-order for pickup, gift cards and merch across two South London sites.
Why this build works
TOAD is an independent queer-owned bakery in Camberwell and Deptford baking sourdough, croissants and pastries from scratch, with queues out of the door most mornings. The founders came up through Ottolenghi and Fortitude Bakehouse.
We designed and built the site around pre-order for pickup, so regulars skip the queue and the team plans production. Gift cards, merch, allergen info and FAQs sit alongside, keeping everyday questions off the counter.
What we did and what we built with
Our scope covered Website design and build, Online pre-order setup, Gift cards and merch and Location and FAQ pages.
Built with Squarespace, Pickup ordering, Gift card setup and Merchandise pages.
What the business got out of it
- Online pre-order for pickup with location and time selection
- Gift cards and merch adding revenue beyond the counter
- Allergen and FAQ content cutting repetitive customer questions
