Gate Foot Forge, designed to convert
WooCommerce store for Yorkshire blacksmith Owen Phillips selling hand forged cookware, knives and gifts, with commissions content and forge experience bookings.
Why this build works
Gate Foot Forge is the workshop of artist blacksmith Owen Phillips in the Pennine hills above Holmfirth. Alongside cookware, knives, fireplace sets and gifts, the forge takes commissions, repairs and runs blacksmithing experience days.
We built the WooCommerce store to sell the catalog and the craft together. Products sit in clear categories from outdoor cooking to barware, while commissions, repairs, sharpening and experience days each get booking friendly pages that turn interest into enquiries.
What we did and what we built with
Our scope covered WooCommerce store build, Course booking pages, Commissions content and Product catalog structure.
Built with WordPress, WooCommerce, Experience day bookings and Category led catalog.
What the business got out of it
- Full hand forged catalog online with categories built for gift buyers
- Experience day and course bookings running through the same checkout
- Commissions and repairs content that brings custom work enquiries
